This policy is being finalized and isn't final legal text yet.
Check back before Mewni's App Store release.
In the meantime, here's a plain-language summary of what Mewni actually does with data, for reference while drafting the real policy:
- Mewni does not require an account or login.
- Favorites and app settings sync across your devices via Apple's CloudKit, tied to your Apple ID.
- Anonymous usage analytics (app opens, feature usage) are sent to Mewni's backend to improve the app.
- Subscription purchases (Mewni+) are handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit; Mewni never sees your payment details.
- Live transit data (vehicle positions, arrival predictions) comes from 511.org's public regional feeds.
